Earth Educator
Granite graduated from the University of Wyoming with a B.A. in Sociology and Social Sciences. Following her academic pursuits, she immersed herself in the world of youth development, serving as a camp director in Wyoming and later as an assistant camp manager at the Louisiana Children’s Museum.
In 2023, Granite brought her experience to T.R.E.E., where she began as an educator for the 3rd Grade Lost Treasures Pilot Program. She has also taken on teaching at Earthkeepers and is this year working with LSU New Orleans on their “Youth Envisions” program development with New Orleans East schools focused on “living with water” and youth led environmental problem-solving.
