The results are in!

The Power Mile had 330 participants and everyone had a blast!

We will receive a total of $3,136.26 from this year’s race which which will go towards ensuring that students of all economic backgrounds can experience the Outdoor Classroom.

T.R.E.E. board member and Entergy employee Dillon Allen secured a $2,000 donation from Entergy’s Heart & Health Grant Program.

$1,136.25 came from registration fees and individual donations.

A huge thank you to volunteers Meredith Barousse, Becky Hervey, Linda & Bob Lee, Nichole & Brandon Lee for chipping in their time.

If you didn’t get a chance to join us this year, we hope to see you in 2018!

Environmental issues and the Water Cycle are important in the curriculum and on the LEAP test. Our results came in on May 18th and our 4th graders proficiency score was unsatisfactory and only 15% was approaching basic!
