T.R.E.E. (Teaching Responsible Earth Education) is hosting the Sunship EarthTM program for several different schools November 16-20, 2018. This five-day/four night discovery learning adventure is truly school away from school. Sunship Earth is an environmental science program that teaches 1/3 of the state science curriculum while giving students an appreciation for the Earth’s wonders and motivating them to protect the precious life systems of our planet. Students will attend Sunship Earth at T.R.E.E.’s Outdoor Classroom on the Northshore (just west of Covington). Sunship Earth builds upon material learned during EarthkeepersTM, T.R.E.E.’s 4th grade program, taking the main themes to a more complex level.
There is a cost of $850 for each student to attend. If the session fills completely the fee for each student may be lowered to $600. This covers bus transportation, educational fees, wholesome meals, snacks, all supplies for activities and crafts, and a staff of 1 adult for every 3 children.
