Program Operations Manager

Waves joined T.R.E.E. in September of 2016 as the Earthkeepers Program Coordinator. Having previously served as an intern for Jean Lafitte National Park, she was excited to continue working within the Barataria Preserve in this new capacity. This year, Waves is taking on a new role at T.R.E.E. to support each program coordinator’s needs and to transition the 3rd grade Lost Treasures program from pilot stage to an established go to for Life Science elementary school classrooms.

Waves earned degrees in Environmental Studies and Geography from Florida State University, and had worked as a back-country camp counselor in Colorado, an after-school program coordinator in Maryland, and an Eco-tour Guide in the Virgin Islands.

Proud to now call New Orleans home, Waves is grateful to be working with T.R.E.E. and sharing her love of the natural world with the students of Southeast Louisiana.
