T.R.E.E. Receives Outstanding Community Parter Award

On January 21, 2017, Founder, Sue Brown and Executive Director, Heather Szapary attneded the Orleans Public Education Network’s ceremony to accept Teaching Responsible Earth Education’s Outstanding Community Partner Award. Not only was it an honor to receive such an award from a group that keeps a watchful eye on focusing on children first, but it was also rewarding to be among so many distinguished and hard working educators who we are so lucky to have in our city.

“This award celebrates non-school-based community organizations that serve students across New Orleans. These entities approach student success from a holistic vantage point, providing support and resources to help children develop into healthy and capable citizens.”

Marvelous well orchestrated five day adventure – highly recommended for all ages.
