Description: Katie Brasted is the Founder and Executive Director of Woodlands Conservancy. Woodlands Conservancy manages over ten miles of nature trails that meander through a bottomland hardwood forest and lead to a grouping of World War II Ammunition Magazines on the West bank of New Orleans. Recent work has focused on removing non-native, invasive trees and reforesting to provide habitat for wildlife and migratory birds.
